International Medical Graduates Education and Support Program
The International Medical Graduates Education and Support (IMGES) program provides an innovative and sustainable approach to supporting IMGs for General Practice. Quality education and support are carefully blended and contextualised to the setting in which the IMGs practice to ensure the education and training provided is learner focused and relevant to their employment.
The broad aims of the IMGES program are to:
- Provide practical advice, education and resources for success in exam preparation;
- Provide support and advice on suitable pathways for full registration in Australia;
- Provide timely and appropriate professional and clinical mentoring; and
- Attract and retain IMGs to the NT and/or to a career in general practice. nt circumstances.
