Online learning tools to assist doctors working in remote communities

New online learning resources for health professionals working in remote Aboriginal communities will be launched this week in Alice Springs.

The Working Well Online Resources http://www.ntgpe.org/workingwell/ have been developed by doctors, aboriginal health practitioners, community and clinic staff and health professionals to assist doctors, in particular Registrars (doctors training to become General Practitioners (GP’s)) when working in remote Aboriginal communities.

The production of the resource has been supported by the Northern Territory’s GP training provider Northern Territory General Practice Education (NTGPE) as well as the Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT) and Danila Dilba.
