Protected Disclosure
Northern Territory General Practice Education Ltd (NTGPE) is committed to compliance with ethical business practices and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any person who has made disclosure of the nature outlined in this policy and related procedure is protected from unfair treatment, harassment or retaliatory action as a result of having made the disclosure.
A protected disclosure is a disclosure that satisfies the requirements of relevant Acts. It must be a disclosure made:
- by any person;
- voluntarily;
- to a person/s nominated to accept disclosures; ie, this disclosure will be received by the Chairperson of the Board and a Board Director.
- to disclose corrupt conduct, maladministration or serious and substantial waste of money or resources;
- and is not trivial or vexatious.
