Darwin Based Medical Educators (part time) - ongoing
A number of 0.4 – 0.6 FTE (two to three days per week) Medical Educator positions are available in Darwin. The successful applicants will be GPs with an interest or experience in medical education who will join the experienced team of Medical and Cultural Educators and program staff in developing NT appropriate program delivery methods, particularly concentrating on building a workforce with remote and Indigenous health skills. The roles will include professional development, opportunities to travel throughout the NT and the variety and ability to deliver regular programs as well as develop new ideas.

Remuneration will be negotiated dependent on experience and skills. Professional Development allowances and salary sacrifice arrangements are also available.

External Clinical Teaching Visitors (part time) - ongoing
NTGPE is looking for GPs to take part in their ECTV process for GP Registrars where at regular intervals throughout their training a GP sits with a GP Registrar for a clinical session, providing insight and feedback on their consultation skills and style.

Opportunities for this work are available on a casual basis throughout the NT from as little as four times a year, to regular weekly roles. Training will be provided as well as CPD points and paid travel, report writing and session time.
