GP Registrar Teleconferences

In 2005 NTGPE's educational activities included a weekly teleconference session, held every Thursday from 2.00pm to 3.30 pm. All GP registrars are invited to attend.

Topics were chosen by GP registrars and reflect common presentations in general practice, national health priorities and NT and Aboriginal health issues.

In 2006 NTGPE will introduce self directed and small group learning to assist your GP training.

Previous Years Programs:

Previous years programs are maintained online as a useful indicator of teleconference topics and areas of discussion. The teleconference programs contain links to resources that have been developed by teleconference convenors. (NB: other years to be added soon)

Teleconference Procedures:
1. Dial 1800 333 803 You will be welcomed by a recorded voice announcement giving instructions
2. Enter your PIN number. This can be obtained by calling the NTGPE office during business hours.
3. Guests will be asked to state their name when dialling into a teleconference after they have entered the PIN. The recording of their name will be replayed to the meeting as they enter & leave the meeting.
4. You are then joined to the conference
