Topic: Adult Immunisation - case scenarios looking at the use of fluvax, pneumovax, tetanus, pertussis, meningococcal vaccine, chicken pox vaccine, hep A vaccine and hep B vaccine.
Mostly will look at examples that are off the immunisation schedule.
Resource person will be Christine Selvey - Head of immunisation Darwin.
Learning Objective: 1. Appreciate the newer vaccines, especially meningococcal and varicella.
2. Discuss when it is appropriate to promote vaccines - i.e.. public health issues in a genera practice setting.
