Royal Darwin Hospital is the main
specialist teaching hospital in the Northern Territory and provides
extensive inpatient, outpatient and casualty treatment to the people
of Darwin and consultative medical services to the "Top End"
of the Territory.
The Menzies School of Health Research is located on the hospital
campus and its research facilities are adjacent to the hospital
pathology laboratory. Liaison between the two establishments is
actively encouraged.
Royal Darwin Hospital is an accredited teaching hospital of the
University of Sydney and Flinders University
