Conference Objectives

The conference will:

Provide an NT-based professional development opportunity for all health professionals;

Highlight inter-professional education synergies in an interactive and professionally engaging forum;

Provide collegial, collaborative/team-based approaches to professional development; and

Bring nationally recognised educators and presenters with the latest evidence based methods to the NT.

Participating educators will build on existing skills and are expected to benefit greatly in their teaching roles from the confidence, competence and professional wellbeing promoted at this unique event. It is also anticipated that these outcomes will have a positive impact on learners’ training achievements.

1. Hospital based educators – Specialists, Registered Nurses, Nurse Educators, Allied Health, Para- medics, Others…
2. Community based educators – GPs, RANs, AHWs, public health educators, allied health, others
3. Academics – lecturers, medical educators, others
4. Clinical and cultural educators who support, train and/or mentor Northern Territory General Practice Education’s (NTGPE) vertically integrated educational programs for medical students, junior hospital based doctors, GP registrars and international medical graduates
