Kintore Clinic offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Rural General Practice. Attended by Dr's J F Scattini, D A Brummitt & R King, this is a procedural practice with admitting rights to Katherine Hospital, where there is a chance to carry out anaesthetics and obstetrics and learn practical skills. A female doctor is at the clinic. Bulk billing is not a standard practice but arrangements can be made with your doctor by prior consultation. Exceptions are made to pensioners and the unemployed when Medicare and Health Care Cards are produced. Other exceptions for consideration may be repeated visits, cases of hardship and multiple family visits.

There are three full time partners and one to two Advanced/Mentor General Practice training positions. Basic, Advanced and Subsequent experience terms. Rural Training Position - particularly suitable for registrars with anaesthetics and/or obstetrics. Supervisor: Dr Russell King.
