There are 5 consulting rooms and a treatment room. Current staff includes 4 full time and 3 part time doctors, a part time practice nurse, clinic manager and 2 receptionists. 15 minute appointments are made, so full time doctors see approx. 25 - 28 patients a day.

Alice Springs has a young population, so a lot of adolescents, children and young women attend. We see a significant number of patients with chronic diseases and lifestyle illnesses.

Aboriginal patients also attend the practice, as do many others from different cultural backgrounds. Billing is private (currently $40 for a standard consultation), bulk billing is available to health care card holders
Central Clinic participates in an after hours service, run as a co operative by the 3 town practices. This involves being rostered (2 - 3 sessions per month) to work in a new purpose built facility with admin support, located within the hospital grounds.

Central Clinic has full time broadband Internet access available in all consulting rooms.
