The Medical Centre is housed in purpose built building. The practice employs five support staff providing reception and secretarial duties. The building itself provides a large waiting room, six consulting rooms and a large treatment room which may accommodate 2 patients at any one time, a staff room and office.
Resuscitation and defibrillation, diathermy, liquid nitrogen, spirometer and audio scope facilities are available.
Accounts are computerised, and computerised prescription writing and summary data are being introduced.
As part of the commitment of this practice to patients, an after hours service is provided for our own patients. This is organised on a rotation system and facilitated by use of a mobile phone.
The practice has a regular educational meeting and visiting or local specialists are frequently invited to these.
