Passionate, skilled and innovative people make up the NTGPE family.

We offer training and support services to GP registrars, GP supervisors and training posts. To do this our people are skilled in medical education, management, administration, finance, counselling and well being, marketing and communications, events management, human resource management  and information technology.

There are about 45 full time staff and a 15 casual medical educators and assessors.

Dr Heard is the Medical Director at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress which specialises in providing services that target the social, emotional, cultural and physical wellbeing of Aboriginal people. Sam has a long relationship with NTGPE, including a past NTGPE Board chair. These days Sam is involved with growing the quality of training within the Alice Springs region through working with current and potential training posts.
