The 2013 Compass Teaching and Learning Conference is a collaboration between the Northern Territory General Practice Education (NTGPE) and Northern Territory Medicare Local (NTML), providing professional development and networking opportunities for NT primary health care practitioners of rural and remote GPs.

To be held in Darwin on Wednesday 29 May - Sunday 2 June 2013 the 2013 Compass Teaching and Learning Conference merges the previous NTGPE Health Professionals Teaching and Learning Conference and the NTML (formerly GPNNT) Compass events.

GP Training in the Northern Territory and Queensland
Northern Territory General Practice Education (NTGPE) and Central and Southern Qld Training Consortium (CSQTC) have entered into a unique and exciting partnership to allow training across both organisations. Applicants may express interest in a co-badged arrangement to undertake training through NTGPE in Hospital and GPT1/PRRT 1 in Queensland then move to the Northern Territory for the remainder of your training. This unique opportunity is available to a selected few who have a particular desire to experience a highly supported combination of mainstream general practice and IHT placements specialising in remote and Aboriginal Health.
