GP Registrar Placement Feedback
An initiative of the Registrar Liaison Officers this feedback is provided by GP Registrars who have recently completed a placement.
As part of the feedback process information sent is reviewed by Medical Educators and GP Trainers. Comments regarding the placement are the opinion of the GP Registrar not NTGPE.

Weather sport art entertainment - all are highlights big town with most facilities
Accommodation / relocation arrangements:
Own accommodation
Hours actually worked:
Far too many. Officially 37.5 hours but probably close to 50 of which half is unpaid
After hours & oncall:
24 hours shifts are painful but better than 48 hours straight !!!
Pay Rate:
Fair
Supervision:
Improving, consultant dependent
Patient Demographics / Clinic Special Interests:
O&G 50% indigenous, 60% obstetrics, most patients are healthy, few geriatrics
Suitability:
Good term for O&G special skills if RANZCOG continue to support the placement with adv dip
